I vote for certain candidates based on a number of reasons. I rely mostly on both my family's and friends' opinions on certain candidates. I also have this weird philosophy that goes something like, "If he/she shook my hand, then I'll vote for them."
I also base my votes on the reputation of the candidate. If the candidate has a bad reputation, then I simply will not vote for them. Also, I base my votes on whether or not the candidates did good during the debates.
